California is known not only for its beaches, Hollywood, immigration issues, and marvelous climate, but also for its people's love of their cars. People often forget that some of our cities (San Francisco Bay area, and San Diego) actually have some excellent public transit systems. Now San Diego is set to augment its reliable, easy and convenient North/South Coaster routes, with a great North County Sprinter route from Oceanside to Escondido, set to begin operation in late 2007.
